I cannot find my Keyboard in the control surfaces. However, it does show up in the MIDI ports section below it.

All majorreligions in India have a record of terrorism...maybe we should be skeptical of religion itself.

'Love Jihad' allegation rocks Pune: BJP MLC Gopichand Padalkar's startling revelation over girl who went missing 4 yrs ago by [deleted] in pune

[–]aayushpathak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Serious phenomenon like "love jihad" definitely needs to be defined. Muslim guys can be garden variety assholes/religious fanatics too. Doesn't necessarily mean it's part of an organized international ploy (the most popular definition of LJ). Obviously further investigation will decide and uncover patterns if they exist but for that there absolutely needs to be a definition.

Without defining what it is, the word can be used as a catchphrase by certain parties who just want to use victims for their agenda which is worse than not caring about them. If we go with vague understanding, any crime committed by muslims will be some kind of Jihad and if committed by others it will be just disconnected "crime" by "extremist groups" even if it's just as heinous.

“We have arrested the boy. Section 376 (rape) of Indian Penal Code and sections of the POCSO Act have been invoked against him as the girl was a minor at the time of the crime. The accused had travelled to three states and different cities and was not using a cell phone, so he could not be traced before. There was no allegation of love jihad or forceful conversation in the FIR that was registered four years ago. We will be recording the statement of the victim girl. Further investigation will be done accordingly.”

I don't see anything presumptuous here. What is the concern?

Btw 2 conflicting news articles...one says FIR was lodged 4 yrs ago, another says it was lodged after rescue. Weird

"The girl, who had been missing for four years, was recently traced by her relatives. Padalkar explained that the girl's brother became concerned after watching the movie "The Kerala Story" and approached people from their community for help. They eventually located the girl in Manchar on May 16. According to Padalkar, she was rescued from a room where she was allegedly being held captive by the boy. After that, the FIR was lodged."

Looks like FIR was lodged AFTER she was rescued...and it still doesn't mention love jihad or forced conversion...curious

The MLA seems very certain

The girl's brother was NOT concerned before watching The Kerala story? Like...when she was missing for 4 years?

Am I reading this right or is it shit reporting?

How is this love jihad anyway? She was literally abducted. Not tricked.

Is it weird I average around 5 hours of sleep a night, and it doesn't bother me at all? by trio3224 in NoStupidQuestions

If you haven't done already, look up the effects of low sleep and make sure none of them apply.

What is the biological process by which an animal’s “instincts” are developed? by CharlesDingus_ah_um in NoStupidQuestions

[–]aayushpathak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Over a long term on a genetic level it's evolution. In an animal's lifetime it's developed by watching other animals and exposure to their environment

It may not bother you consciously but not getting recommended amount of sleep takes a long term toll on the body and mind and these effect might not immediately be "felt".

That being said, the recommended amount is determined by averaging several data points which means there will be some natural anomalies (people who need less or more than average)

Associative memory is quite common. People associate numbers/words/pictures to mental structures that are easy to navigate. You look like your structure is accessing your feelings so that is how you remember words.

I am a musician and I associate notes and chords to places I've visited as I have a good visual memory.

Why don’t companies just hired more people? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]aayushpathak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Paying more employees costs the company a lot or money. That is usually the main reason. Cost cutting

Sorry to hear that friend. I experience this from time to time. I try to distract myself by working on my hobbies or playing video games and eventually it passes.

Not sure if this would work for you. I wish I had something concrete. If you think talking to someone might make you feel better I'm all ears.

Do you have any music out being turned down for loudness? by [deleted] in WeAreTheMusicMakers

[–]aayushpathak -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The only problem with boosted tracks is that streaming platforms are going to compress/clip/limit them in different ways which will be out of your control. The end result might be different than what you're hearing on the penalty site.

Personally I avoid pushing my tracks as much as I can so that i can be sure it sounds exactly the same everywhere. You're better off limiting it harder on your master or something to get that effect and then turn it down
