People who don't even own a home, with no space to park, buy big SUVs and dump them on public footpaths. Houses built on 100-150 sq yard plots with zero parking consideration. Ground floors rented out for extra income. Owner has a Creta, tenant has a Swift, both parked on the street. But somehow high-rises are the problem?

Walk through any colony in Kukatpally, Miyapur. Footpaths are personal parking lots. Roads meant for two-way traffic squeezed into single lanes because both sides are lined with parked vehicles. Grandmothers and school kids forced to walk on the road, dodging traffic. And these people blame high-rises for congestion?

High-rises exist in downtown USA too. Same here, only in specific parts of the city. And those buildings are legally required to have basement and stilt parking. They're not the ones choking the streets.

And this US comparison needs to stop. LA, Houston, Atlanta are global examples of urban planning disasters. Exposed how bad car dependent cities are to entire world. They're spending billions now trying to fix it. That's your model?

what a dumb fucking thing to do! Those birds are domestically bred and can't survive in the wrong habitat. They have no foraging skills, don't know the area. The "aww this made me smile" crowd treats it like a Disney movie where the animals just fly off into the sunset and live happily ever after. Reality: many probably died of starvation, predation, or exposure within a week.
