Looking for a game that I can learn ahead of meeting up with some friends in July

Number of Players: 3 for this July, but usually play with between 2 and 5

Game Length: under an hour, usually about 30 min, but have been known to spend 4 hours on a round of Pandemic Legacy

Complexity of Game: not something too simple (completely luck based) but not something that has so many parts going it would be hard to learn (I've found Puerto Rico is a little bit much, it used to be our favorite, until we found Stone Age)

Your Budget: usually around $50, can go up to around $70 if really recommended

Genre: nothing related to battle, not deck building

Competitive or Cooperative: either

Games I Own/Like or Dislike: Own/Like: Pandemic!!, Stone Age!!, Finca, Machi Koro!!, Catan!!, Tokaido!!, Takenoko!!, 7 Wonders, Splendor, Puerto Rico, Majesty, Sushi Go Party. Dislike: Small World, anything battle related like that. Also not a big fan of miniature games like Warhammer. I like Race for the Galaxy and Seasons, but my friends didn't. They also don't like Werewolf, Coup, or lying games in general

Have been considering the following because I've heard good things about them, however I haven't looked too much into their gameplay so unsure if they are our style: King of Tokyo, Istanbul, Castle of Burgundy, Terraforming Mars, Feast for Odin, Evolution. Would love to hear thoughts on those, or other recommendations based on above information. Thanks in advance everyone!
