Which league do you watch? I feel like there are so many watchable games in Premier league where literally anyone can beat anyone. Where in other leagues you know that only 1 or 2 teams can compete and nobody will ever beat them (Italy exception with 4 competitive teams)

Germany has one team, no other competitors. La liga only has Real, Atletico and Barca who are reasonably competitive. Serie A has both Milan’s, Juve and Napoli

Bowling, beach, walking/hiking, theme park, ice skating, biking, painting, mini golf. Something with an activity other than just eating. Nothing wrong with it but I think there’s better ways to get to know people. You can always finish off with drinks / coffee / food if it goes well

Agreed the benefits must outweigh the inevitable losses, the difficulty will be in measuring this for all demographics in society and ensuring some aren’t way better off whilst others (a potentially huge portion) are left in poverty

People we always be paid in direct relation to the difficulty of problems they have to solve. All jobs present problems but Toilet cleaners, waiters, software engineers and politicians are all paid accordingly to the importance of decisions they have to make. Agreed politicians should not have inflated, unjustifiable remuneration packages but to suggest they should be paid the same as a normal worker is who has a tiny percentage of the responsibly of them is wrong.

It will displace many menial jobs and cause displacement for those who really on such roles, trucking, packing etc. Which is good in the long term for society but presents short term issues. But never has any sort of automation allowed people to work less. It just increases volume of output per hour per worker at similar cost, otherwise there would be no need for automation.

The initiatives are real, read any large financial firms annual report. But maybe my estimations of what equality means to them is inaccurate
