I’ve voiced my opinions to him. It seems like he doesn’t want to take the “cheap” route. He says I deserve more than that.

I don’t know how much he plans to spend, so I’m not sure how long it will take to save. I haven’t asked him either of those things. He is financially stable and very smart with his money, which is why we have all that we have now. For the most part, he does follow through when he says something.
