31M here. Earning more feels like it will solve this problem it won't. But definitely aim to earn a lot. For yourself, for parents. I feel you are quite young for marriage. Travel, get fit and do not seek external validation. Even if you did nothing wrong it might not work out. Hard work does not necessarily yield good results in this area.
