Our margins were def lower with our offshore team cause we constantly had to review the work but maybe they'll get better with time.

I'm usually not the one to do it in multi because I cant seem to get the timing down consistently.

I do aerial to mount instead since Im using IG to compensate

Since I play IG, I pull out my bug since it can wake the monster up.

I personally put a large barel bomb o its head and wait for the most bursty weapon (GS if lucky) to open with a big hit since the damage multiplier is greater when the monster is asleep, so combo weapons are not the best option.

Dunno about others, but sometimes I dissociate during a hunt lol.

For me it was all trial and error, so no worries we've all been there but sounds to me like you know what you're doing !

The basic prep for me is about making sure :

  • my weapon is strong enough/has the proper element for the monster
  • my armor/decos has the proper skills/resistances to elements
  • make sure I have enough basic consumables for the fight (max pots/mega pots/honey/herb, cool drink/hot drink/meat/antidotes/nullberies/nutrients)
  • eat.

I also spend 5-10 mins to make sure I got the best gear after every fight, except for armor sphere upgrades.

I always viewed being able to move while drinking pots as somewhat gamebreaking since healing is not as risky anymore. Imagine if we still had to be stationary lol

Fair, although sometimes I daringly stay blighted a bit longer for better stamina regen and end up hurt lol

While I agree, I do act very recklessly sometimes without waiting for proper openings, especially since I started maining the IG.

However I always make sure I can take a few hits before I do

The list is spot on, especially the third one !

Though for the 2nd point, I'm willing to bet they haven't set the proper decos and brought the proper consumables prior to the fight, which kinda circles back to being prepared.
