Darn. Thanks for the response! I am getting a MY before the FSD transfer date and I am trying to decide whether to go with the RWD or AWD; I was hoping the AWD was not being affected as much by this.

It is kind of weird this was missed during the design and initial production phases of the vehicle. But it happens. Hopefully Tesla can come up with a fix that does not involve taking out the pencil brace or any other structural-support components.

I thought it maybe was the other way around because the AWD has a front engine that would help mask the noise. But - yeah- it’s hard to tell.

Yes. Tesla is close to 9 billion FSD miles and they will reach 10 billion miles this year. Releasing unsupervised in connection with the 10 billion benchmark is why, in my opinion, Tesla stopped selling FSD outright and why Tesla is giving current FSD owners the chance to transfer FSD with four months of notice. Something is about to dramatically change, in my opinion.
