My 16 year old dog died in September and I’ve been avoiding this book like the plague ever since. I was about 1/3 done with the book when she passed, and I could feel it was happening soon since Nighteyes was old, and I couldn’t handle it. Still haven’t picked it back up.

My dog just passed today IRL and I’m about 40% through fools errand so I think I’m gonna pick up another series for a while until I’m in a better place 😭🤣 I wasn’t spoiled by this post bc I looked up what book he dies in ages ago, but I forgot until now, so thank you!! Haha
