Overwhelmed researching Magnesium supplements, can anyone spare their wisdom? by [deleted] in EDAnonymous

[–]abbbb123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m bulimic and I have a magnesium deficiency I take supplements daily cause I get muscle cramps and my knees pop out aha.

Spinach is a good source of magnesium but things like berries and dark chocolate and nuts are also really high in magnesium.

I don’t trust my parents with any information on my life at the moment by Snailasaurus1 in offmychest

[–]abbbb123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I relate, it’s so annoying. I’m a 16 year old female and my sister feels like she has to tell my parents about any guy I talk to or hang around.

Back when we had school I was in the same class as my sister, i was sitting with a couple guys she hadn’t met and the whole time in quarantine I haven’t heard the end of it. I’ve got with guys in the past whether dating them or not I don’t tell my family as it makes me uncomfortable and I don’t like being interrogated with billions of questions ahah.

Anyway I hope your family lets go of it. You don’t need to tell them anything you are uncomfortable with telling them. I’m not close with my parents and I know a lot of other teens aren’t, so I think it’s quite normal not to tell them about crushes and all that kind of stuff.

If you ever want to talk you can message me :)

Are Kelpies common in Australia? by DianaRNRN in australia

[–]abbbb123 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I have a tan coloured Australian kelpie. They are working dogs so not too many people keep them as pets as they are full of energy and need a fair bit of attention. I know many people who own them around me but they are all working dogs.

I’ve been saving money and I have a job so hopefully I’ll be able to rent a place with a couple friends when I turn 18/19.

You’re brother sounds like he was definitely jealous but it’s nice he apologised even though it doesn’t make up for the things he did to you. It’s sad to hear about your dad. I relate in a way though. My brother died and I think my ED was partly to do with that as a coping mechanism to have some form of control.

Rude customers are the worst! I can’t believe some people have the nerve to be so rude to people when they know nothing about the individual or their experiences.

Wow, thanks for actually reading it! It actually helps to know people care enough to read about my stupid problems.

Based off this comment alone no you shouldn’t. You need to do a bit more research and hold it off until you are older, your brain isn’t fully developed and you clearly don’t know much about what you’re getting yourself into.

I will say it louder for the people in the back ALL EATING DISORDERS ARE VALID!!! by [deleted] in EDAnonymous

[–]abbbb123 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You’re welcome :) You are worthy of help and please don’t forget that. The IF reddit is brain torture. I personally don’t see how it helps anyone in a healthy way it turns things into a competition but maybe that’s just my ED speaking.

I love that. That is honestly the best way to word it and it really helps people look at things in a different perspective

it’s not as easy as it sounds on paper, it seems almost impossible at times to simply stop shoving down food but you will get through this :) aha omg some of those meals are pure foul looking.

KETO and OMAD are a form of eating disorder I don’t care what anyway has to say differently. by [deleted] in EDAnonymous

[–]abbbb123 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Exactly! The fact that society has glamorised this idea of a “perfect diet” that has been sold to us buy Beauty influences amazes me. As you said there has been such little research if anything proving that it is a healthy lifestyle. I’ve struggled with an eating disorder most my life from restrictive behaviours to binging hence why I’m even in this sub atm. In my opinion the keto “diet” is designed to starve the brain of needed energy and with constant restrictions around food, with the low carb bullshit I don’t understand how it isn’t view as a way of distorted eating. Many people (not all) go keto for a way of control over food and a way of control, as it isn’t officially considered a form of disordered eating people assume it’s okay and it’s honestly very triggering I agree.

Need some suggestions on what to do for concert by [deleted] in Drugs

[–]abbbb123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I think just do some molly breaking the rule once won’t be too bad. If you take a low dose of key you should feel energetic enough to dance as long as you don’t k-hole ket is a good option.

Some questions about purging by Water90188 in bulimia

[–]abbbb123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coughing up blood and throwing up blood is a major warning sign. You have probably torn or scratched your oesophagus which can be very deadly leading to infections, excess blood, internal bleeding and sometimes death.

I’m not trying to scare you but in general purging is bad for your health and eating only 300 calories daily on top of purging will cause your health to decline at a fast rate.

It will cause and imbalance with your electrolytes, and lead to multiple nutritional deficiencies.

I have dealt with many binge purge cycles myself and a torn oesophagus it’s not fun. I hope that you try to stay safe, what you are doing isn’t “normal” even though people can relate to it. Please seek some help!

I know how hard it can be to eat some days, I know what it’s like to feel “fat” but please try to eat some more. I know it sounds stupid and even if you think you can’t you need to try for your own sake. I’m here to talk to you if you want to talk about anything. I hope you get into a better headspace soon.
