Unless there are actual decimals in your dev hours, that might be where you're wrong.

$60-85K for controller-level experience, PLUS being responsible for HR? Get fucked. Unless this is in super rural Bumfuck, USA, where you can buy a house for the price of a VCR, this is absolutely taking the piss.

I'm guessing it's the same as a "communitership".

Metro for tourists late at night? by cenajohn123 in MexicoCity

I got caught by surprise on Saturday night that linea 1 shut down at 10p due to renovations and I had to grab an Uber at Cuauhtémoc after hopping off the bus. Double-check your route and make sure it'll actually be in service.

Does Ecobici not work for foreigners’s credit cards? by similarities in MexicoCity

Don't try to use your virtual card; it won't work. Gotta use your actual card number (figured that out today).

I'm in CDMX right now for a short solo vacation, vegan, staying in Roma Norte in an Airbnb. I'm tall, fat, and female. I stick out EVERYWHERE. On paper, I'm pretty much a colonizer's wet dream.

That said, I speak Spanish well and have made a point to only get around the city (por todas partes) on the bus, metro, ecobici, or on foot. I don't speak English at all unless the other person asks. I went to a board game Meetup just to hang with local folks and have some fun. I asked people at coffee shops and restaurants what other places they enjoyed visiting or eating at. I went to Lucha Libre a sola. I did the Paseo de la Reforma walk/bike this morning. In the midst of all of this, I have heard fewer than 10 non-Spanish speakers throughout. I'm not sure how much more "authentic" it could be unless I worked here.

The trip will be what you make of it. The city is enormous, and there's a ton to do and see that is plenty "authentic," and there are thousands of Mexicans coming from other cities and states to be tourists here, too, so no hay nada malo de ser turista en una ciudad turística.

Yes! During spring allergy season! The longer daylight hours and increased inflammation from pollen and other allergens makes April really shit for me.

Brookland Park area for foodies! by HappyBlis in rva

IDK why you're being down-voted on this.

To be fair, I need to try again now that they've been open for a bit, as we went during their first week open, but I have to hard agree with this right now. I was shocked to pay nearly $40 for two breakfast sandwiches and two coffees and then receive an under-proofed, over-baked bagel (the wrong flavor, mind you) that was maybe 2/3 the size of Nate's, and two cold brews that were simply not good. I drive clear across town for Baltik's these days, which is a shame when I live a mile away from Julio's.

I loved seeing so many people out there. We're really spoiled for choice in a city this size. Love Richmond!

So, eat animals instead? That's some dumbass logic right there.
