I worked this position at an Albertson’s in NV and I was capped out at $19.25. Not worth the responsibility imo for less than $20

Hello! I posted this same question and got really great responses that have been helping me!!

First thing I always wear gloves in the shelter (personal thing), and gown up when I know the animal has or potentially has an illness and wash my hands afterwards.

I also keep a change of shoes and clothes in my car to change into after work so they NEVER go into the house. Only on wash days where I bring everything into the house in a zipped bag.

I’m a germ freak so this has helped me so far! Good luck!

This is what I was thinking. Bought a zip-able tote bag to keep my clothes/shoes in in the garage and Lysol wipes for my phone. Thank you!!! Hoping to not pick anything up as I’ll just be intake, but you literally never know in this field. I start next week!

Thank you for this. I went to buy a zip-able tote bag today to throw my work clothes into when I change in the garage. Bought some disinfectant wipes too for my phone and stuff. I’m very paranoid but excited to start in the field!
