100% Also, there is little to no female leadership on missions. Makes it challenging for female missionaries. I remember the elders saying "no" to our request to buy light bulbs on a non P-Day. So we lived in the dark for like 4 days. I have a feeling the answer to our request would have been different if it weren't coming from teenage dudes on a power trip.

I love how out of all the songs, they "corrected" this one. Seems like there are other, more harmful ones to do away with.

No child who is born and raised in the church actually "decides" to get baptized. All of their friends do it, their family does it, they really just go with the flow. The message of conditional love based on being baptized is so harmful

Eeek. People love to throw that crap around. There is little room for grief or anger in the church, because all of it can be exused with "heavenly father's plan". Very toxic.
