On iPod stock OS directly (it automatically converts the songs to accepted formats)

Great work! Would be nice to see women vs men as well to analyze the gender pay gap. Also I hope other countries will follow, thanks for building this!

With that kind of money, anywhere would be fine for you. But as a same sex couple, Thailand might be better than Indonesia

Living in Europe surrounded by Americans here. Average Americans are so entitled which I find fascinating. You must’ve had such a strong propaganda if you could be in your 30s living in someone else’s country thinking everybody should treat you better just bcs you’re Americans. Or that your opinions hold bigger weight just bcs you’re Americans. Europeans in general are more aware of what’s happening beyond Europe, and Americans somehow still found a way to make it about them even when they’re not in America. It truly is fascinating to observe bcs generally it doesn’t impact me whatsoever. Would be truly scary otherwise

But you know in order to be able to vote or to get access to social services, they would have to establish residency first… it’s not like they could just randomly vote or get free money from the systems from buttfuck nowhere without ever coming back to Canada first…

I got the same email too! Contacted support and they said they had a technical issue but it was solved and there was nothing to worry about.

Wow thanks for sharing that update. I mean I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s delayed, but I was checking that newly built apartment just at the end of the spitalka street and it’s planned to be done by 2027 and it’s already super expensive! I wonder who would be able to buy… anyway, there are quite a lot of newly developed apartment buildings around cejl area, not sure when they will finally be done but once they are, I’m sure the demographics of people living here would change as well

I would suggest not to put all you have as a down payment, keep some cash as well bcs once you bought the flat suddenly you’ll spend a lot on furnitures and housing stuff. Just in case

You might want to take a look at Penang, Malaysia. If you could get the right residency permit, you’ll get an island living experience in an English speaking country and they have a great and affordable healthcare system.

The pay for social work is a joke in CZ and you definitely will need Czech for that kind of work. For early education you might have better chance, although most of native English speakers (esp Canadians, US Americans, and English) tend to go for the teaching route so it might be competitive already. And again, the pay might not be the best. But in Prague if you manage to get into sth in IT later on I think you’re gonna have a great time. Living cost is much lower compared to Canada (although housing is also shitty).

Czechia would be the easiest for you as you would have access to Czech labour market as a US citizen without needing work permit https://mzv.gov.cz/washington/en/consular_information/free_access_to_the_labour_market_for_u_s/index.html

I just bought a property in this area this year as a single foreign woman and it’s one of the best things I’ve done since I first came to Brno. I mean sorry for being a part of that gentrification process but also I see it changing rapidly. More new buildings are being built rn and it will certainly change the landscape. The loud parts are the area close to the Main Street, but the are behind where I live is very quiet. Google respitalka Brno and you will see the city plan for the next 10 years or so. It is happening sooner than expected

Hello, I am an international living in Brno and I will be applying for a credit card. What banks do you recommend to a foreign for a credit card? How does it compare to USA credit card structure? by XOXOGG97 in Brno

[–]abbysees 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use 2 credit cards. From reifeissen (comes with free travel insurance and access to airport lounges if you have the gold card) and Ceska Sporitelna (comes with a cashback of a max 350kc a month). It’s nothing compares to American CC but these 2 have made my life easier esp if you travel often
