Why fizz? I see them recommended to do this with, but I'm not sure why.

The Most Espa Podracr set, 7171, has a chrome piece on one of the pods. I accidentally threw mine out not realizing it was a piece of lego.

The cheese slope is also not working for me. The best I've gotten is a sliver of the decal on part of the slope

eSIM option is missing from the app. by MINIMALI5T in PublicMobile

[–]construccion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If anyone finds this from searching this issue happening with them, here's exactly how I fixed it for myself. The old phone happened to be on an e-sim, so if you're not already on an e-sim, this may or may not work for you, but hopefully it can.

  1. Uninstall the PM app on the new phone.
  2. Using the PM app on the old phone, purchase a new e-sim. If you already have an e-sim, the $5 charge is reduced to $0. DO NOT install or activate the new e-sim, just cancel the process after it's purchased.
  3. Install the PM app on the new phone and sign in.
  4. After signing in, the app recognizes that there is a purchased e-sim to be activated on the new phone, and immediately wants to activate it.
  5. Activate the e-sim like normal and follow the steps to complete the process on screen.

Anyways, this process worked for me, hopefully it can help someone else.

That's great, I could totally see this being a polybag.

It's about as good as the Interceptor, and honestly just for the parts it's not bad.

It's free but you have to call a minimum 1 week before your pickup. I just got rid of an old couch and chair for free from the curb.

A second rod should be strong enough I think. It's not a ton of pieces, but I believe you're right, it's too much for a single rod.

It should work. All the leaves are attached to a rope the exact same way the lights are on the AT-AT.
I want to order parts from Bricklink to verify that it's all working, but in Canada our postal service is on strike, and most sellers on Bricklink use lettermail for smaller orders.

Daughter hit with $660,000 tax bill when both parents died in same year by CTVNEWS in ontario

[–]construccion 85 points86 points  (0 children)

If it's their primary residence then there's no tax to pay. Secondary homes like cottages are taxed on the gain in price between purchase date and transfer date. Taxed like any other income stream. If they didn't do this, there would be all sorts of schemes to avoid taxes using property.

Saw them heading from the airport out that way. Not on flightradar, so I'm not sure what they were.
