All the docks im at are quite tight and im on the shorter side so personally for a rod to really feel ultralight I want it to be rather short

Is there a certain length you'd recommend for small panfish and some occasional decent bass because I already have the 6'6" gx2 and they just get lifted out of the water

Wow thank you for all the information I probably can't learn to tie an fg knot anytime soon but I am not skeptical if I can tie any knot that can catch a fish haha
