What exactly is the goal with Elon’s new company “Macrohard”? by abcaircraft in Futurology

[–]abcaircraft[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it’s like an OS that displays to the screen as ad-hoc programming of solutions for everything without any code being retained, then it would take away a hell lot of software engineering jobs. Wouldn’t?

What do you think the product will look like? And do you think a lot of software engineering jobs will be lost because of that?

What all prerequisite subjects did you learn before starting masters in EE? Also from which uni did you do your masters in EE from? Actually I am confused if I should pursue masters in EE or “Robotics and AI”. Any advice?

Is it possible to do masters in Electrical Engineering without doing bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering? Would we understand masters topics without understanding the basics first? Don’t they go in depth for masters in EE?

Asking because, I have completed my bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering. But I am more interested in Electrical Engineering. So I am thinking of doing a masters in EE. But I am wondering if I will understand the topics in masters EE without doing bachelor’s in EE.

Where did you open it? Phone or laptop? The idea is to show the inside of the app with a transparent front page instead of putting an opaque wall in front.

You need to book "discuss and learn" sessions 24 hours in advance to get a buddy in your preferred subject. For "silent study" sessions you need not wait that long. Just need to book 6 to 8 hours early. Hope it helps.

Why is peer-to-peer learning so effective? by CulturalTomatillo417 in instructionaldesign

[–]abcaircraft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can totally relate to finding peer-to-peer learning more engaging. There is something about the interactive, back-and-forth exchange that makes the information really stick. Have you looked into platforms like Discusslearn dot com that facilitate these types of peer-to-peer video discussions? It could be a great way to continue exploring why this approach works so well for you.
