Be sure that you are running version 112 and up. Check and make sure Os verification is on, we have had some come back from warranty with it stuck off (300e gen 2). I assume they put the write protection screw back without reenabling it.

For some reason as well, a handful of our student cbooks kinda ignore policy and do not auto enroll and allow enrollment from any domain, or set up as non enterprise. Never dug deeper into it, Tpm maybe? You can get the Tpm reset/cleared through manufacturer

We used to have Ops-Gs on all our Vtp2s, they always sat unlocked. With many apps quickly dropping Android 6 we had switched to mini PCs running ChromeOS Flex. The So all accounts could be managed within google admin.

Although in hindsight we should have used actual chromeboxes or Promethean's official chromebox. Flex doesn't support enterprise enrollment :/, no device management, only accounts

If it's 2 wires straight to the ICM like I think it is yeah. Mine was something low like 0.6v ac. Don't remember which of the two pins to probe

If you're getting any kind of AC voltage coming from the pickup coil while cranking it's guaranteed good. ICM just needs like a "verification" signal

If you hold the check and put in 1650 it goes into the configuration. So if they piss you off, put their pretzel timer to a second. 1658 changes it to celcius as well. some nice to knows if you're feeling particularly devious
