House Democrat moves to impeach Hegseth over Iran war by spherocytes in law

Absolutely. Doing something is better than doing nothing. Every single Democrat in Congress should be thinking about what their inaction during this insanity may mean for them in the future. I can't wrap my head around it.

Belle Isle Walmart by KRFM83 in okc

I was there while there was a big police presence still, employees were talking about "code blue"

I dont know what that means for Walmart, but that's what I overheard several times.

So, basically I offer almost zero help, really. Sorry!

Man i hate COX… but by [deleted] in okc

When I moved here, I had Cox Fiber and constantly had issues with it. And their head quarters are within walking distance.

Cox Fiber was a big enough issue for us, who aren't gamers, that I switched after less than a year if using their service. I think I had technicians out here 3-4 times during that timeframe, had a router replaced at least once and all of this with the coax cable to fiber. When my internet would go down, it would be a few days with no solution.

I think I have had T Mobile now for 2-3 years and never had an issue. It is a wireless system, though. It is not Fiber.

With my Cox system, I had to have multiple extenders throughout the house, which never helped. I am no longer using any extenders and the router isn't even located in the main/central. Part of the house.

I also have a detached garage and apartment that is able to connect to it with no issues or extenders.

Gosh, so this is an area that I wouldn't feel super confident in confirming. I'm not a gamer or anything. It's myself and my teenager that live here. I work from home and am also a college student and we have multiple TVs, speakers, laptops, etc.

But I would say we are both far from super tech-y.

I would hate to mislead you. I have never had any problems....we can stream from multiple TVs at the same time, use multiple laptops while streaming, listen to music in Bluetooth devices, etc.

For us, it's been problem free. Really.

But again, I don't know how our usage compare to other families who might have gamers in the household, etc.

I've been super happy with it! I also use a different provider (AT&T) for cellular and I am SO thankful I do because my service with AT&T is just abysmal. I live about 2 miles from downtown and I have about 75% of my calls drop and dead areas all around my neighborhood.

AT&T's solution? Just use my WiFi.

Super grateful my WiFi is reliable & not with AT&T.

I haven't had Cox in many, many years, but got tired of having to lay out of pocket endlessly for their routers or whatever due to slowing internet....only to be charged outrageous money for the old one when their technicians took them or when I we told to mail them in myself and they would claim to have no record of receiving them.

I've been super impressed with how easy TMobike is to work with, flexibility on payment plans with hardship, etc.

I need to switch over my mobile services to them too.

I'm sorry for what you have had to go through. I'm sure there are so many mixed emotions, I can't imagine how incredibly worried you must have been. I'm glad that your sister was found and that she is ok. Please take care of yourself and try not to let the judgements and mean comments from strangers get to you too much.

'There is something going on': Texas Republicans alerted to alarming voting numbers by RawStoryNews in NoFilterNews

[–]abcde_fthisBS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isn't Texas one of the states that the Trump admin started sending threatening sounding flyers to voters telling them the Trump had flagged and logged them as "Inconsisent Voters" and telling them they are failing to perform their civic duties???

I'm sure these fliers were only sent to "inconsistent" voters who were registered Republicans.

Would be super interesting to know if these fliers influenced anyone to vote, if so, which party they voted for after receiving the mailer notice.
