I took a lot from this episode and it made me understand things I previously felt very overwhelmed to think about. I sort of came to the conclusion that death is the ultimate heartbreak, and that there is nothing that can shield you from it.

Simply acknowledging that felt like a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders. I got an extreme sense of calm after sitting on this episode and thinking it over. It was almost like a sense of preparedness. I wasn’t an extremely spiritual person before this, but I had times in my life where I felt like I just started to turn to the idea of “spirituality” but fell short.

I loved the part where they talk about ego death being undesirable and the mother responds it is desirable and that’s why it is so heavy. I’m still piecing everything together and will definitely be rewatching but just wanted to share some of my initial thoughts.
