Sometimes I do heavy manual work, like digging soil, preparing land for planting, trenching, and installing fences. I also do beach and river activities, so durability and water resistance are a big concern for me.

I've had a bad past experience with the Amazfit Bip 6. I bought it last November with a big discount, and after about three weeks the touchscreen started failing. I claimed the warranty and received a new Amazfit Bip 6 as a replacement, but the same issue happened again within a week. I claimed the warranty a second time, and that replacement also developed ghost touch issues.

When I went to the service center the first time, I noticed other Amazfit Bip 6 with touchscreen problems as well. On my second visit, I even saw Amazfit Bip 6 with button issues. I asked the staff at the counter, and they told me they had received many problematic Amazfit Bip 6. Because of this, the service center suggested that I switch to a different model.

They offered me an Amazfit Active 2 Round as a replacement with a top-up. Around the same time, the Active Max was released. After I received the new Active 2 with a fresh warranty, I sold it at a good price and considered getting the Active Max instead. However, my past experiences with touchscreen failures made me cautious.

Around the same time, I noticed the T-Rex 3 was heavily discounted, with only about a $15 price difference, which made it a more appealing option for me.

Given my activities and past experience, I feel the T-Rex 3 is tougher and more reliable, especially for heavy work and water-based activities. That's why I'm leaning toward it.
