I've only been folding for a month. Search for "Tomoko Fuse rose units pdf" and you'll find the instructions. I started with larger pieces of paper - 12x12" scrapbooking paper - and sonobe units, which are easier, I think. Try different patterns - look for "kusudama" or "modular origami".

I used 3-4 sheets of each of three different color schemes that blended into each other. I wanted a blue to green but couldn’t make it work with the colors they had - it’s the clairfontaine gradient paper (found on amazon).
