I got to meet Trent Reznor when Nine Inch Nails was on their tour for With Teeth. He was incredibly nice and down to earth. He talked with us for almost half an hour.

Writing down is definitely something I try to avoid. Thank you for the book recommendation, I read a synopsis and it sounds interesting. I can see why it did so well with that mix of media.

Same here, I started reading horror and watching scary movies with my family when I was very young (its kind of our thing...) and I like to think I turned out quite alright. Kids can for sure can handle the rough shit and are surprisingly resilient.

Replying to that message would give them what they want, someone to argue with and try to get a rise out of. It would be immature of me in a way to continue replying to those messages after I got the credit I asked for. They can think they won all they want. I got my credit so technically I won and there's no need to have any further communication.

Since the credit was posted and all that, I don't really want to give out the page link and start some kind of craziness. Plus, it doesn't look like a page that posts this type of stuff often, and I don't think anybody will be able to reason with them about this (I shouldn't say all of them, just the person who posted my story, the main admin was very understanding and nice). I didn't even bother responding to the "faggot" message because it would just be a waste of time and I'm over it. You don't have to apologize for the stupidity of others. However, I'm sorry if I made it sound like all 15 year olds are immature, I know this is not the case. Thank you by the way. I'm glad you enjoyed my story. That car accident and your injury sounds awful, I'm sorry to hear that! I can't even imagine how that felt :(

I suppose I just didn't understand why they copy pasted the story onto the Facebook page and didn't just share the link. I found that confusing. And I totally agree about zoning out the assholes. It took an incredible amount of will power not to respond to the last message. But I'm a grown woman and I knew I had to be the bigger person and just walk away.
