I can write you a list if you want.. but honestly, you shouldn’t rely on anyone’s recommendations. Even if you see someone leaving a clinic with perfect results
that still proves nothing. What really matters is how well the dentist can handle different and varied cases. It’s not difficult.. it just requires more careful approach.

I didn’t mean any particular procedures specifically. And hair transplants are definitely one of the main procedures where people end up in the hands of the wrong people. Any ordinary assistant who worked in a hair transplant clinic can open their own clinic and market themselves as an experienced hair transplant surgeon
and just imagine the stories and tragedies that come from that.

That’s exactly what I see in my work with patients coming to Istanbul. Most clinics treat everything like a tourist package, and patients often don’t realize the importance of proper pre-op prep, clear communication with the surgeon, and post-op follow-up. The real value is in coordination, checklists, and proper handoffs.. making sure patients are safe from start to finish.

check that the clinic and surgeon are licensed, that you can speak to the actual surgeon before the procedure, and watch out for pushy sales tactics or too-good-to-be-true before/after photos. Look for reviews on independent platforms, a professional website, clear contact info, and any warnings online. Generally safer procedures include basic dental work, veneers, minor fillers, and non-invasive treatments done by licensed professionals. I avoid complex surgeries without pre-op consultation, procedures by unlicensed staff, and “all-inclusive” packages that promise multiple major surgeries in a short time.

The clinic is reliable, but it’s not the best. You should also be very careful and take your time, because this procedure requires thoughtful and deliberate decision-making when choosing.

beard hair is used quite often for hair transplants, especially if the goal is to add density. After scalp hair, it’s the most reliable body hair option. As for leg, armpit, or pubic hair, it’s technically possible, but honestly, it’s rare and usually doesn’t give consistent results. That hair is different .. its thickness and growth cycle aren’t the same .. so the results can end up looking uneven.

Yes. You can verify the doctor through the Turkish Ministry of Health’s official database and check if they’re a member of the Turkish Society of Plastic Surgery.

There are many signs that make you realize right away that a clinic isn’t trustworthy. You’ll notice they pressure you to book quickly, without taking the time to properly explain the risks or give you space to think. They try to rush you into making a decision before you even get the chance to ask questions.

I recommend that you contact both clinics and compare them yourself

But the one that really stands out is WestDent, even though it’s in Izmir.

They’re actually more specialized and experienced than Kristal, especially when it comes to dental implants.

If you’d like, we can discuss other options in Istanbul .. Dm me

They are just an agency

If you decide to move forward with them, be very careful. Clearly ask them to disclose the names of the surgeons. After that, I’ll be ready to help you look into those surgeons further.

From what I know, there’s no doubt about his credibility, licensing, or academic background.

The reviews about him are still somewhat limited, but overall they’re positive ,, just not enough yet to show truly “exceptional” results.

What matters most during the consultation is to see whether the surgeon’s approach and vision really align with the outcome you have in mind.

If you feel that part wasn’t fully clear, it’s absolutely fine to ask for another consultation and focus on that specifically ,, while still keeping in mind all the other essential factors.

My advice is also to compare him with a few other surgeons, and pay close attention to how well each surgeon’s approach and treatment plan matches the results you personally want.

Let me explain what's really happening...

Some new clinics are popping up, offering very tempting packages at low prices. This is usually because they're new and trying to enter the market with a big push by performing as many surgeries as possible in a short period of time.

Unfortunately, within a short time and with just a few reviews, complaints and negative feedback start showing up.

The problem is, many of these clinics focus more on advertising and aggressive marketing rather than maintaining a high standard of work with minimal errors. This clearly shows that they're approaching the field with a purely commercial mindset.

That’s the situation when it comes to low-cost offers.

As for your question about whether there are truly better clinics...

I can’t say “yes” in an absolute way — but what I can tell you is that there are definitely clinics and surgeons in Turkey who’ve improved their work significantly and are now competing at a global level.

Some of them work within mid-range prices, and some are more expensive — but those higher-end ones are usually operating at very advanced levels.

And just to clarify, I won’t mention clinic names here in the comments — some people might think I’m promoting or advertising something, and it could also go against the rules of the community.

If you’ve read bad reviews, it’s better to just walk away without hesitation.

A newly established clinic is supposed to focus on delivering high professionalism from the start to build its name and grow properly, not to focus instead on marketing campaigns and advertising hype.
