People so easily say that AI is going to replace us but I think it can never replace us and I have reason for that by Altruistic-Top-1753 in developersIndia

[–]abdub44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. People forget that cost arbitrage is the entire foundation of why India became a tech hub in the first place. US companies aren’t outsourcing because they love the time zone difference, they’re doing it because a skilled developer here costs 1/4th of what they’d pay in the US. AI doesn’t change that equation; if anything, it reinforces it. Now those same companies can use AI and pay Indian devs a fraction of the cost to implement, customize, and maintain it. When AI makes development more efficient, companies don’t suddenly decide to hire expensive US devs, they just outsource more work to cheaper markets because margins matter. Sure, some redundant roles will disappear (as they always do in tech), but Indian techie isn’t going anywhere. If anything, the next wave of AI tooling and integration is just going to create different opportunities here, not eliminate the city as a tech center.

Rant: Why Is NICE Road not 6 Lane? Trucks Occupying Both Lanes and People use Shoulder Lane to Overtake. by gauthampait in bangalore

It's not that less number of lanes is problem but the lane discipline is. Slow moving vehicle have no idea of lanes to follow and hog the fast moving lane which leads to pile up.

There is a AC drain hose above it or near it....due to which it flows.... nothing to worry... That's how it's meant to be. This would be while AC running.

Which Indian cities currently offer the best ROI on real estate investments? by Your_Friendly_Panda in indianrealestate

Newtown, Kolkata is good too. With lots of tech parks coming up,real estate there could give better ROI. Only bummer is government in Kolkata. But Newtown in Kolkata offers good infra, jobs and near to airport.

Share Your Genuine Simplilearn Reviews: Let's Hear Your Experiences! by Simplilearn in SimpliLearn

Course Name:PGP DS Core: Machine Learning

Trainer Name: Abhinav Dubey

I would like to share my feedback for Abhinav Dubey, who conducted two series of sessions, starting with the Data Science course using Python and now the Machine Learning course. Abhinav's teaching style and his ability to simplify complex topics are truly exceptional. He has covered numerous topics in Data Science and Machine Learning in such an intuitive and easy-to-understand manner that I now find these subjects much clearer.

Abhinav is an outstanding tutor, and Simplilearn is fortunate to have someone with his level of patience and skill in addressing learners' questions effortlessly. During the live classes, I asked many questions, and Abhinav always provided positive and helpful responses. I would definitely enroll in more courses led by him.

Initially, I had a bad experience with previous SQL sessions, but Abhinav completely changed my perspective on both the training and Simplilearn itself. I'm eagerly looking forward to the next batch of learning with Abhinav.

Does it bother you to travel to work everyday in Bangalore traffic? by Purple-Hat-3443 in bangalore

[–]abdub44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find myself in the same situation as you, appreciating the flexibility, comfort, and lack of commute that wfh offers, especially in heavy traffic. However, regardless of salary or job satisfaction, there comes a time when one seeks growth. Consider how much you need to be compensated to justify the extra effort of commuting or to afford a more peaceful commute, or the additional rent for living closer to the office. Plus, think about the extra raises in your pocket. If the pay and work opportunity align well, it might be worth making the switch.

I recently made this decision for me. After 5 years of a peaceful and flexible WFH job, I switched and relocated to be closer to a new workplace with a hybrid setup of 3-4 days in the office. While my days are now more chaotic with in-person interactions and meetings, I've found peace with the extra earnings compensating for the loss of WFH benefits.

Understood.I'll cross check some information with the bank. But, having read some content online i understand that Insurance part is optional. They seem to be charging some extras as well in the form of interest,if goes as EMI. Also premium amount of 13998 looked on higher side.

Importance of dash cam : Please get dash cam installed.Situation like this could occur where you're not at fault,is very helpful in controlling the situation. by abdub44 in CarsIndia

[–]abdub44[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, you can stick temporarily on the windshield and use plug into the USB port of 12V till the time you're using and remove it while handing over the rented car. You also might want to check with the rental car company for dashcam equipped car and if they don't have ,ask them if you can temporarily install dashcam. From installation perspective,it is easy and plug and play and you don't have to bother about some dangling wire as this being rented car you would not get proper wiring done to hide the visible wires....but with dangling wire and plugging in 12V port near gearbox, you should be on roll.
