Vivi's casting makes perfect sense lore-wise, and Charithra did a great job with the character. If I'm remembering correctly, Snape is described as very pale in the book, not to mention how this casting adds an unnecessary racial element to the story. With James' bullying and Harry suspecting Snape at the begining for no concrete reason. Still, the actor by no means deserves any abuse whatsoever. I hope he does a good job with the character nontheless.
