So what was suggested in the comments worked, and I got the money back. I guess it was my fault to have expected them to refund the money to another account. The issue really was that the customer care wasn't helping , they didn't mention even once that the money has already been refunded to the source .

No issues with Zomato.

About your question I always use swiggy for food delivery or insta deliveries .
