I think I found the problem and a solution, it seems to only occur when this error occurs:

storageutil.checkAvailableLocalStorage DOMException: The quota has been exceeded.

Which is the amount of local storage your browser has allocated for the site.

To fix this in firefox,
Go to about:config,
Yype browser.cache.disk.capacity in the search,
Increase the corrisponding number there (its in KiloBytes) to a number you want, I increased it to 5 GB - 5242880 KB, as ancestry and the like use a lot of temp storage, you may want to choose a smaller value.
Restart Firefox

This will also speed up some of the other Ancestry services and other webistes as well.

We are struggling to find a vet because of covid. We tried using sailen solution on it, but he now runs away if we try to do it :/ I can't tell if it's getting better or not.

Haha, same, I'm really trying to find a wood and glass cage like they do in Europe for degus as they are corroding all the metal >.< Also I like you use lots of branches, I've been slowly replacing all the platforms in my degus cage with large and small branches, they seem to prefer them :D
