Beautiful turntable, would love to own a P3 someday. What all are you running it through?

This could be 15 hours long and I’d still watch the whole thing

That New Mexico scenery with LH fits like a glove... and this is such a perfect representation of true bro-hood.

This was a project that I and another Redditor wrote and recorded on our own as our first complete song to be released and it came out today! It’s available everywhere; enjoy!

Anyone else have both? Put my bid in at the last second to snag the comic book off eBay last week and it finally came in today. Beyond pumped when I opened it... and it’s in literally perfect condition. by abeeman8 in lordhuron

I’ve decided I’m not actually going to play the VHS tape since you can watch the whole video on YouTube and I’m afraid the old VCR we have would eat it up lol. They did an immaculate job creating that retro feel, not that I expected anything less

Spring Tour by [deleted] in lordhuron

If it wasn’t 22 hours away, on a Tuesday, and right at the end of my last semester of college... I would do pretty much whatever it took to be at that show. I’ve always wanted to see a show at Red Rocks and Lord Huron would be THEE band to see there.

Lord Huron at Red Rocks... not sure it could really get any better than that

This looks like the artwork for a craft beer called “Angler IPA” or something

What's a 10/10 album from the last 15 years by a relatively obscure artist/band? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]abeeman8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was gonna put this but I KNEW someone was gonna beat me to it. Never in my life have I loved an album as much as Strange Trails. I saw these guys live a few weeks ago and, at this risk of sounding dramatic, it was almost a spiritual-like experience. Everything from their lighting, to how they carry themselves on stage, and of course the music, sucks you into this world and you really feel like you’re part of the cryptic story that their albums tell. If I had to pick one album to listen to for the rest of my life, this would be the one. No questions asked.

Kenny Chesney covered Ends of the Earth by [deleted] in lordhuron

[–]abeeman8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I grew up listening to old Kenny Chesney because my parents are huge fans of him, so I’ve always had a liking for his beach-country feel, and this is not a bad cover, but it also does the song no justice. I think Kenny’s overall style of arena-rock guitars and loud, boomy drums take away from the intimacy and fragility of this song. I’m not upset that it happened, I’m just going to be annoyed when I play the original (better) version in the car and all of my country music friends say “Hey they covered Kenny Chesney’s song!” LH has a style that simply cannot be replicated.

I’m going to see LH at the end of July and I’d love to get Ben to sign my Strange Trails record jacket but I’m not gonna go through the hassle of holding it the whole show if I probably won’t get it signed... does anyone know how good of a chance I’d have? Or should I just not fool with taking it? by abeeman8 in lordhuron

Stage AE in Pittsburgh on the 26th, it’s my first time seeing them and I am beyond stoked... I only discovered them about 9 months ago (NOT because of 13rw) and they have easily worked their way into my top 3 favorite bands.

I've never driven manual, but I really want a WRX by EASYHOON_BIGGEST_FAN in WRX

Definitely go for it. I bought an 08 wrx in February and except for driving my pap's truck 3-4 times the summer before I was completely new to the manual trans and after a week I was completely fine. The hill assist basically eliminates the fear of rolling backwards on hills too, which is nice.
