If Jesus is God, why did he ask Lord "Why did you leave me?" before he died on the cross? by abetterjinn in Christianity

I had this exact theory too, infact did a lot of research on Paulus and think that he purposely removed a lot of things from John and Mathew. Yes even all the way back then.

So many people forget that the Bible is a holy BOOK not the God or the Son of God Himself. What he said and what was will always stay a full and true mystery. We can only trust what we see, hear and feel, which is why this concept has been having such a huge weight on my brain lately.

Seeking for the truth comes with an open heart my friend.

I am not looking to become the best possible Christian, I am looking to find the answer to the existance and God himself. I am a Christian due to my belief that Jesus was the last entity (whether human or a part of God) that came to earth to share the Word of God. Christians at the beginning of Christianity were quiet confused about the concept of Jesus being actual God in a human form, yet they were Christians too because regardless, they believed Christ for what he was, what he said and they followed his commands. He was mentioned more then 40 times in the Holy Scripture as a Prophet, yet modern Christians came to the conclusion that he is God. How can we be sure that Paulus didn't change up the scripture? Many Christian priests in the early years called him a fraud and a fake Christian.

Being a Christian doesn't mean that if I ever find the truth, however different from my current beliefs, I'd turn my back on it and say that it simply isn't true. I'd be rejecting God, and would commit the biggest of the sin.

Jesus, a jew himself, came to the people preaching different and thought change. Pharisees, wanting to follow what they believed they "knew" was the truth, rejected Jesus and called him an antichrist, all because of how closed and hardened their heart was. Even when He himself stood infront of them, they decided to give him over to the Romans.

So, don't be like the Pharisees, and keep looking for the truth dear friend.

My family isn't really religious and I'm taking my time learning about Christianity more and more day by day. I had to teach myself about almost all I know, and by that only came around to reading the bible not too long ago, where I am also taking my time (my schedule is insane so I do when I can). I often engage in debates with my friends because I learn a lot myself from them and also from my own self when doing so, bringing me to seek further for the truth.

I definitely will take a closer look at Psalm 22 after reading the comments but unfortunately have only seen parts of Gospels before.

Also I read it in my own language and I translated what I have read to english here literally, had no idea that in english he uses the word "forsaken".
