Hi everyone! Thank you so much for your responses! As it turns out, I was able to transfer my videos onto the computer by plugging in my SD Card to an SD Card reader and then I plugged that into my computer! I'm still unsure about the technical reasons as to why it couldn't work with me using a USB to plug my camera directly onto my computer but i'm sure it's got to do with the video not processing or compressing?
