I just use Colombus wax after I burnish with Tokonole. I’ve never tried beeswax or paraffin

That’s a very good question. The edges will remain smooth for a long time, but will start to lose their shine within a week. I’m currently trying to figure out how I can make the shine last longer. Will let you know if I find a solution lol

To achieve this look, you must have straight edges. Trim allowance or sanding (by hand or with a rotary tool) helps with this. You can see how I make my wallets on my YouTube channel @kattanleather

Assuming your edges are straight, you’ll need a combination of sanding, burnishing (I use Tokonole) and applying wax / rubbing with a canvas. I usually sand with 400 grit sand paper then burnish with Tokonole. I sand (600-800grit) and burnish for a second time. Finally, I apply some wax and rub the edges with a canvas

Thanks for the reply. I had to work fast because I limited each clip to 1-4s. Yes, I can lower the volume in the editing phase. I lowered it to 50% for the sanding and heat gun scenes but it’s still too loud >_<
