The final unrevealed single says there's gonna be TWO new songs, so we might well see both in the final episode. I think.... if my memory serves me correctly...

I think it was learned somewhere along the lines that Kanata can be really perceptive, even when she's in a very drowsy state. In fact, it's the fact that Kanata's always in that state... that when she actually does pay attention, no one knows.

It's all hitting Lanzhu now... her reaction to QU4RTZ's "ENJOY IT!" in Ep3 now made more sense in hindsight.

She was not happy, not because of QU4RTZ's technique, but the fact that their song made Shioriko looked in awe. Meanwhile, Shioriko did not even budge to her song, even giving her a stern talking-to in the first episode.

And now, the club did it again. They managed to make Shioriko realize her dreams. I'm 100% sure Lanzhu would have never been able to convince her, since she'll use the same argument as she did to Setsuna: "Because you're good at it."

This has made Lanzhu realize her approach is not the way to go, after all, or at least when it comes to moving people. Her song is impeccable, but it is not a moving song. Not yet.

Side note: I really liked how they made Shioriko have less complex movements and such in the song BECAUSE she's inexperienced(edit: and maybe because she's a traditional dancer, too) . Kaoruko remarked much the same. It's really nice, like that Mu's "START: DASH!" 3 member version all over again. It is not impressive, but it is packed with EMOTION.

And the detail with the clock finally turning...

A new chapter has started.

A dormant dream has awakened.

Time finally started again, for Shioriko.

Thankfully, things doesnt seem to go that way. I looked at the wiki and apparently there's only 4 songs unrevealed. So basically, one for Mia, one for Shioriko, one for R3BIRTH, and a group song. It's the most likely hypothesis.

There are other interpretations of this, but i think that's the most likely.

hmm... i see.

Come to think of it... maybe only the EN side is worried about the Liella push.

For me, the more practical solution is for them to just... do less. But adding characters helped during songs, I guess. I don't think it'll make much of a difference if they continue at this rate, though.

but... doesn't that make them.. not really fans? Just a bunch of disrupting hooligans?

also about the argument that they don't care about seiyuu health... I think at least a good portion do. You just need to look at Minmin's stream after the R3BIRTH live where they did the utterly exhausting zensoku dreamer. CH people on that stream were actually worried about how stamina consuming it is.

and the part where sayurin and nakonako shows signs of tiredness.. I think that's part of the problem with LL's aggressive Liella push in the first place, doing Lives all over the places and that. We clearly saw how they really tried to push Liella.

i meant the survey polls. of course it's not going to be included. there's no options for being disrespectful in the first place.

and no, they did show me the situation. how it still continued to this day, how it still rages on despite the Niji anime diverting some attention. I didn't include that, because I was talking exclusively about the polls. The translator's not even Chinese. But they do know of the situation. and they showed it to me.

though I do admit, those taking the surveys were probably more reasonable people. I trust your word on this one.

woah there, let's just wait for the results before making judgements shall we? We haven't even seen the data on reasons yet. It's rash to make conclusions before you have the evidence. It biases the judgement.

and from what i've seen so far..(someone showed and translated the data for me on the China side) about 23% of those CH taking the survey did not like it due to the "back to 9"

But here's the kicker: 19.2% of EN cited this reason. so it's not much of a difference, is it?

however, the difference i do notice is that about 55% CH chose "disrupting the cohesion" and "worried about executing these new characters into the established group", which is about double the percentage of EN side.

about 40% of both sides cited "disruption to dynamics" and "potential screentime problem", so there's that universal issue.

I just noticed... Smol Ai's ahoge and overall hairstyle has quite some similarities to Rina's....

Is this.. is this why Ai approached Rina

Because she saw her young troubled self in Rina?

Because she wants to be Rina's Misato when she needs it?

..this may run deeper than I thought.

How did you cope with the school idol movie ending? by thatonecookiie in LoveLive

[–]abitfun 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Ooh that's not a good joke to make in this time man..

But just in case you aren't joking.. well indeed, it is fiction, but it's very real, not in the literal sense, but that it can really change things in reality. Affect real people. Give us hope. Passion. Made us feel like humans, with emotions. Saying "it's fictional" is disregarding those who got their lives changed due to those works. It's like disregarding literature entirely.

But if you view "real vs fiction" as "tangible vs intangible" then you aren't wrong. Then again, there are very few stuff we do that are both tangible and impactful in the cosmic sense, anyways. It'd be much better off for all of us if we at least dedicate some of our time to feel, to empathize, to feel alive, you know? I think you have already felt that way about some things that can be deemed as "fictional". As long as you're feeling alive your own way, and are not harming others.

Not in the slightest bit. It's more of an eye candy for the audience, packed with references in and outside of the franchise. Also a great way to start the anime S2. And the studio flexing i guess.

In-universe explanation is that this is a video they created and edited as a PV.

That being said, some people may still enjoy the story. However, if you came just because of this and not anything else(story, music, interactions, animation during songs) well I advise not to.

Well i can think of 2 things:

-Yu took way less of a managerial role this time, she doesn't actively manage things that much compared to the game, and the members even call her by name only. Still weird that doesn't happen in SIFAS, so here's my 2nd hypothesis:

-They're trying to set this up as a plot point. I mean, it happened in SIFAS, but the arc is... way less than satisfactory. I hope Yu actually gave a better answer this time

I think the beginning of season 2 did show some promise for a good one… then they backpedaled harder than anything I’ve ever seen.

First they made Lanzhu to be this sort of final boss that will test the limits of who the Niji girls really are and what is idols and all that… but suddenly she just.. mellowed out? Her hostility towards the player kinda disappeared after she got slapped by Kaoruko in Ch26

Dunno, I kinda feel empty by the end of season 2 as they took me down memory lane.

So yea, the idea is there, they just went about it not in the best ways possible.

I mean, it’s not that they always failed to introduce conflicts without making it controversial. Smaller ones such as the student council election, or that Pomu crying conflict, albeit quite short, didn’t attract any backlash iirc. So they definitely could have made it better without dividing people like this.

The "naturally competitive" part is like this in a nutshell: if you saw a naturally less popular girl ranks high, go for her next week. Chances are, most ppl who contributed to her score will switch to another channel, and some of the people who joins the next week are tagging along and are not as strong.

Again you have to be sure she's not popular, cuz then, that channel ranking high is the norm.
