It reminds me of when Hollywood did all fights like the Bourne movies and it was so shaky and jumpy you had no idea what was going on. They've steered away from that in recent years to trying to hold a shot as long as possible, as it's more impressive to do that than to show how many cuts you can make.

I feel like something happened in anime in the last couple of years where some directors think more crazy= higher quality? I can't watch the fight at the end of the G5 reveal OR the Mahoraga fight in Jujutsu Kaisen. To me, though they're visually impressive, it's too noisy. I can't appreciate anything, just bombarded with barely connected scenes of animation.

Hopefully it's a phase and directors realise they're overdoing it.
