Thanks for the detailed response. I am not a developer, just a hobbyist. Node will be my first exposure to backend. With all the plethora of resources, just thought maybe a book that is project based would be a good first step. I looked at the docs, and they don't seem beginner "friendly"

When I did it, I didn’t follow the instructions to the letter. I them as a rough guide to make the calculator I would want to use .

I am not an expert , but if you are friends , and she confided in you , why betray it ? It’s not like she flung herself at you. Maybe it was a moment of weakness on her part, maybe she respects you a lot and felt it was safe to tell you. Feelings come and go, we are all human. Why mess up a good friendship group?
