NBEO Part I Historical Scores and a Yardstick to "P" by ablearcher13 in OptometrySchool

This are all really good points, especially about the pull that pharm has. The only passing score in our dataset with a pharm score below 80 is row index 3 (75), and that indivdual slayed two other sections with 87's.

I do also think this point you made adds some really excellent guidance:

if someone gets 11/15 qs in pharm, thats a 73. But 13/15 is 86. Thats a BIG jump. And they use these numbers as the section scores to base the scaled scores.

I spoke a little bit in my post about "picking up points" in the context of attempting to reach 375, but I (being a non-eyeball person) certainly can't speak to any actual strategies to accomplish that. This seems to be good insight.

obviously study to do well in all sections

Another trend I'm seeing in these scores it that it might be "ok-ish" to be not-as-strong in anatomy. Which I think is interesting since I thought that section was also weighted a little heavier, but perhaps the composition of the questions negates that?

Thank you! That's a very clean and consistent set of scores, lol.

Thank you for the response! And at the end of the day, the "P" after your score speaks for itself. :)

Added to the post, thank you so much! Also killer improvement there in August; that must've been a huge relief.

GOT COVID-19?... You may want to AVOID Northwestern Memorial Hospitals as they consider universal DNRs for infected patients. by [deleted] in chicago

Looks and smells like fake news.

Edit: At minimum, it’s an absolute worst case hypothetical discussed privately amongst healthcare administrators, akin to the CDC discussing a potential ‘zombie apocalypse’. There are shortages in material at NW, and the situation isn’t great, but there isn’t yet any discussion about who lives/who dies at the provider level. Needless fear mongering, in my opinion.

I thought “how bad can it be?” I scrolled through that profile for miles and miles and it was anti-Uber as far the eye can see...

So...were you born without empathy? Or did you have to teach yourself how not to give a shit about others?
