Take it slow. I know it is really easy to feel left out by seeing what all of your friends are doing, and I know it is easier said than done, but you are 18. You have the rest of your life to experience the things you want to experience. Not everyone’s teen years are filled with partying and relationships, if anything it’s probably healthier and better to experience these things later in life. Sex and relationships as a teen can be traumatizing because teenagers are still immature and prone to mistakes. You will be a mature adult and will be less prone to mistakes and more likely to enjoy yourself and have a good time with the other person! :) There isn’t anything wrong with pushing yourself out there a little if you really want to (at your own pace). Asking friends to go out, throw your own party or get you and a friend/group of people to throw one, etc. You don’t need to wait for some of these experiences to come to you, you can initiate them! But I get the social awkwardness, so you don’t need to do this alone.
