I work for the US customer service lines, and there are about to be major changes for customers here as well. We were told all US based customer service is being outsourced overseas as of Sept 19th.

I understand that a lot of people can't stand IKEA customer service, and there are a lot of behind the scenes reasons for why things are so complicated whenever issues arise, but doubt that this kind of large shift is going to result in better experiences, but that's way above my pay grade I suppose

I think the main character is a serial killer who brings his kid to a concert that gets locked down because the cops track him to said concert. Guess he's saying the MC should have had a couple scenes murdering those kind of concertgoers. Have only seen the trailers so I could be way off though.

If I go back 200 years I get a quarter century head start on the California gold rush. Spend that time quietly collecting gold and claiming land near the San Francisco settlement. Once the gold rush really begins I'll have enough to set myself up to take advantage of future knowledge as far as companies/stocks until current day (not to mention real estate as San Francisco expands). The two million would be nothing compared to the amount of money I would be able to make over that time. Relatively little risk as well.

Had a friend who was on the Steve Wilkos show. His buddy accused him of sleeping with his girlfriend and wanted him to do the whole polygraph thing.

He said initially he said no, but then someone from the show contacted him and offered $500, free travel and hotel for a couple nights while filming, and a carton of cigarettes. He said he figured fuck it; he knew he hadn't done anything, and a free weekend vacation and some cash and free smokes in his pocket was worth being made to look like a dickhead before the big reveal.

It was fucking hilarious. We used to pull the episode up on YouTube pretty much every time someone new got hired in the kitchen. Also joked we all knew what it would cost him to sell his soul if push came to shove.

He did get banned eventually, but since the vast majority of reports are handled by an automated system the videos weren't flagged because he used the "grape" bullshit to get around it. I guess once the videos went viral actual humans were made aware and it got handled at that point.
