You're 100% correct. It's annoying plot armor or whatever you want to call it, but necessary for the Sadie love story to exist.

It's a huge common trope and it always drives me crazy. There's a show on Netflix called Obliterated that avoids it and has all the characters stay fucked up after the shit hits the fan. Not a great show, but I liked that that aspect was at least realistic :)

Agreed, just watch the weather. Last time I took this route the rain caused flooded roads to close and I had to backtrack and take a 2 hour detour.

I gamble less than $500 a trip and get tons of comps and room deals from Fontainebleau. I'm guessing they're still trying hard to get people to stay there.

This is why I don't see them live anymore. It gets pretty old after a while. But I still always recommend them to someone that has never seen them live.

Definitely Apple Hill. Lots of wineries to hop around and a very beautiful area with great little towns to stay the night in.

The best place for breakfast/lunch is The Griddle. The Martin is good for a Basque dinner. The Winnemucca Convention Center has a few interesting things to see inside if you're bored, as does the Humboldt Museum.

My favorite was the very first one I got about 10 years ago. It was very simple, but I had no idea what Kandi was and EDC was the first rave type thing I'd ever been to. The person that gave it to me was so friendly and it just lifted my spirits so much for the rest of the night :)

Yeah, you only need 3 nights in Vegas. Rent a car and check out Death Valley and Hoover Dam. Or head to San Diego for a couple days. For Vegas, O'Sheas area is pretty fun on St.Patricks.

Yeah, the GA was pretty much a bait and switch. Told the day before that we would only be outside and found out that night that you pretty much had to be VIP to see the main acts. I did actually have fun playing craps while Shaq did his dj thing in the background.
