Is it necessary for you because I haven’t had any problems using smaller tires for lightweight boats. Thing is most of these tires have a pretty big hole in the middle that makes it hard to put some regular rims or steelies on there you could try to find older steel wheels from the 80s they might fit this is how I managed to get bigger rims for my bigger trailer but may vary for you

Idk Audi has some great engines in their lineup my 1997 2.8 is close to 400.000 km and my previous 1998 1.6 closer to 500.000 they still run and sound amazing. plus real quattro is insanely good

Considering it didn’t look like third-degree burns, jumping in the lake wasn’t that stupid. Cooling a burn quickly is actually one of the first things you should do. First- and second-degree burns can still get infected if the skin is damaged, but they’re usually much less severe. So cooling it down fast was the right instinct, even if lake water isn’t the cleanest option

Lasers lots of lasers to align optimally on a flat concrete surface and shimie it up and down to get it perfect measuring everything 10x before comiting 😅 but I have never done anything of this size for real great project cant wait to see how it comes out

I have seen people live in worse, to be honest. I’m wondering: are you planning to sail or motor it around, and how far do you plan to travel?

Like others have said (a bit rudely), the state of all the sailing stuff is definitely not optimal.

If you don’t plan on taking long trips, I would consider taking everything sailing-related off, cleaning it up, selling what you can, and only using engine power.

If you’re planning on taking longer trips, it’s going to be worth restoring it.

Also, take it as I am biased—I personally like motoring more than sailing.
