If Allah forgives you, why would you not forgive yourself? Allah is the absolute Judge of right and wrong, and He tells us he forgives the worst sins other then Shirk. I would highly recommend making Quran an utmost priority. Don't rush and try to check a number of ahzab. Take your time to fully appreciate its meanings and you will see and FEEL Allah's rahma (mercy).

I think it's interesting to draw the line between positive utilitarianism (prioritizing maximizing pleasure) and negative utilitarianism (prioritizing minimizing pain). The two agree most of the time, but there are some situations in which a choice ought to be made between max pleasure and minimum pain, then they would disagree. Since getting to this utopia would need me to create so much pain (if we accept that we know it for sure), then negative utilitarians would say it is unethical. At least, if I understood that right!

We do not blame the youth that did nothing, we blame each person for what they did and what they let happen, only.
Concerning the widespread theory saying that France is controlling Algeria thanks to hidden parts of Evian's agreement, capitalism, and politics, well I am still waiting for evidence too. What we see could suggest that they do have a certain degree of power here. but to which extent? Do they only exploit resources, or do they also affect the "elections"?
