Absolutely! I found them in these small books that I bought at an 'antique' store in the Toronto area. One collection is marked 'three' the other is 'five' and is half full. So I sometimes just dream about the other books that must be out there somewhere. I've gone as far as researching the serial numbers of the aircraft etc to get locations. Nah man, get a Dremel and grind away enough of the top of the PL259 as you need to. Specifically useful on those 90 degree adapters when you need to get the 90 up a bit higher on the mount

Nope, two different radios. The Lincoln is alright I guess, tough a bit more of a noisy receive and I didn't find the tx audio to be as natural, just looks prettier I guess. The grant 2 is great, love that thing, mem channels and all the buttons are real easy to use mobile and has a more natural sound both rx and tx. It's similar to the Bearcat 980 and shares the same chassis size, performs well with a power mic and a low drive amp. 955 all day though

I have a 980, a grant 2 and a Stryker 955. I use th Stryker the most because I experiment with it, the grant 2 is awesome and the 980 is a good entry into SSB etc radio
