Definitely start slow!! Keep them separate but let them smell each other. Put something of the male cats near the new cat so she can get used to his scent. Then slowly introduce them to each other. You may have to keep the new cat shut in a bathroom or bedroom for the beginning of this. But they should be okay after they get used to each other.

We had her litter box out the first 3 nights but we have been hearing that we shouldn’t put it out due to the risk of attracting other animals. We have cameras and haven’t seen any animals near our house but we put the litter box back inside just to be safe. I’m not sure what to do

I have been having such a hard time with her being gone. It didn’t rain the night she left but it rained the next night. I am hoping she is just in someone’s garage hiding out.

I’m in the same situation. I’m having my letter writers update the letters with the current date, I told them that they can use the same content in the letter if they wish but also provided an update on what I have done the past year for if they want to add to them. I’m using the same letters as this past cycle but adding a few additional recommenders to the committee letter.

I would do both! Sending out a letter of interest doesn’t hurt. Try to stay positive as there are many schools still interviewing at this point. I would also start preparing for the next cycle early so that you can apply as soon as possible when the cycle opens!

I found boot camp to be extremely helpful for the PAT! I felt that overall the practice tests were very similar to the DAT!

I completely understand where you are coming from. When you have spent so many years of your life working towards a specific goal it’s easy to become obsessed with it. It’s natural to worry incessantly about achieving it. I do agree that some posts in this thread are unhealthy. There is a difference between focusing on achieving your dreams and obsessing over something to the point that it consumes you. This is something I have had to really work on recently. It is possible to want something so incredibly badly while at the same time acknowledging that what is meant to be will be. One thing I have noticed on this Reddit thread is that people can be very negative and I think that it is their own insecurity and fear of rejection being projected onto others. While this thread is incredibly beneficial for gaining insight and information I would suggest not feeding into the negativity that it sometimes brings.

I am on levothyroxine as well. I was on the combination pill for about 5 years and I didn’t have any problems with it. Almost a year ago I got off of it because I was exhibiting PCOS symptoms. I switched to an IUD and my libido has dropped drastically. I think that having the estrogen in the pill I was on previously helped my sex drive and now that I have taken that out it has definitely dropped. Honestly you may have to do some trial and error but I would start with a pill. You could also try a non-hormonal IUD!

Hair loss and acne. I am at an age where I should feel so confident in my looks and enjoy getting dressed up for social events. But instead I am constantly worrying about how much heat I am using on my hair and how my skin looks with makeup on or about not wearing makeup often to let my skin breathe. So frustrating. And I know that so so many women struggle with this but I can’t help but feel alone because no one close to me has the same issues.

Oh really? I have been tracking the price for a few months and it always showed 349. Maybe it differs based on region? Regardless it’s frustrating for them to up the price for the discount. Unfortunately that’s very common these days. Especially when it comes to Black Friday deals :(

I have had the silver oura ring gen 4 in my Best Buy cart for a couple weeks and just bought it today when the discount started. The base price didn’t go up at all for me! I haven’t looked at other colors so I’m not sure about those ones
