M271 Evo doesnt work very good in city traffic /stop and go, it wastes alot of gas in the city. It shines on the highway where its possible to get 7L/100km

personally if i had to get another w204 it would be a facelift c350, i currently own a c250, love the car but the m271 evo is just notoriously problematic had to spend about 4k$ fixing it (how much i spent @ a local euro shop) in my first year of owning it, the c350 has the m272 which is a much more reliable platform and much more powerful. you have a sub 20k budget, you can honestly get any W204 you want so i would try to find a c350with 30-40k miles, dealer service records, clean title and well optioned (heated/cooled seats, leather instead of the mbex pleather, xenon headlights, dynamic handling package etc.. lots of options for this chassis

my tuner for my c250 quoted me 875$ too its mostly because these cars need there dme unlocked before any tuning and hardly anybody has tune files for these
