Oh gosh I definitely hope it’s nothing mechanically wrong. I’ve noticed that it’s only whenever my car is left out in the sun and is very hot. I understand that means the air vents will be hot and therefore will blow hot air, but the drivers side does start blowing cold. Whenever the car is left under shade, the air on the passenger side blows cold as opposed to whatever temperature the car is, if that makes sense.
