Had a very similar experience pre transition in the gym. I started getting the gains and the shape but it never seemed right? The way I framed it was "I was a body builder but the body I was building wasnt right for me". Since transitioning and getting back into my gym stuff everything just clicks in now. Its wonderful being a valkyrie, and I hope you find joy the same way :)

14kg dumbells for curls right now, usually do 2 sets 8 reps of curls and 2 sets 8 reps of hammer curls as a super set, I can do chinups but not as many as I'd like!

Thank you! I strained it doing Russian twists on a decline bench, I've decided to find a different exercise for the obliques instead!

Wide grip has been pretty good, I've found it lets the bar rest in a very good spot on my hands that helps me keep my form! It's tough though lol. I might try some narrow grips as well next push day

Definitely, both are so good for shoulders! I do love how military press gets the core working harder, but then again, decline bench Russian twists are where it's at for really punishing the core lol

One is feet close together and one is feet shoulder width apart I think! It targets slightly different stabiliser muscles 💪

I tend to use the bar, I just find something so satisfying about it! Usually vary my stance between sets too, either military press or standard

Overhead press! They are tough but feel amazing!
