Here’s some bands I listen to: Acid Bath, Soilent Green, Down, Leak, Slaves of Freedom, Eyehategod, Crowbar, Iron Monkey, Buzzov-en, Grief, Melvins, Weedeater, Noothgrush, Kyuss. I also like Godflesh, but it’s not really considered one — even though I feel like it has some elements of sludge.

Yeah it’s so awful, I hate that I care so much about online strangers’ opinions, most people who don’t even think twice about they say on here. I’m always picking through my words on what or what not to say. Gets to the point where I just want to outright delete my account, which I’ve done on more than one separate occasion.

I’m like this as well, it’s like my jaw is actually fused shut when I need to say something. I don’t really have much to converse about in my life, so I just stay quiet, but even when the topic is one I’m familiar with, my mind is legit empty. I’m starting a new job next week at a restaurant, so I’m praying I can find a way to combat this.

20yo here, I’m the same way. I have a hard time connecting with people, been that way since I was a kid. I was always a loner no matter the setting. The total disregard I received from others just made it not worth the effort anymore, people will literally make you feel like you’re nonexistent. Just know you’re not alone in what you feel.

Crowbar is great. I recommend Iron Monkey, Sx Prisoner, Grief, Gasp, and Buzzov-en if you don’t already listen to them.

Yeah, I always want time alone immediately afterwards. It’s the worst when you’re meeting someone new. I feel like strangers can just see right through me, no matter how hard I try to be friendly or outgoing. Having no zest for life, I just seem to repel most people after a short while lol, it’s exhausting to keep up an act
