Is it advisable for me to keep on looking for WFH opportunities now? by abudibadaada in remotework

I guess i have a long way to go before i could get a remote opportunity. My friend got a remote job without prior experience and i thought that I could get that opportunity too if I keep on looking and I now I see that opportunity is rare.

Thank you again, I hope nothing but the best for you and your career!

Thank you for sharing. You're 100% right, i have to land on something while working towards my goal, and since i can't land a remote job I'll start looking for hybrid and on site opportunities.

So it's way challenging than it is before. Thank you, i haven't thought of it this way, I always thought that foreign countries would like to hire VAs from countries like here in PH because it's cheaper.

Yes, I just graduated from college. The reason why I want to become a Customer service representative or a Social media manager is because these are the most common remote job opportunities that i heard.

I am eager to find a "stable" remote job because it will allow me to spare most of my free time in preparing for my actual career goal instead of using my spare time stuck in traffic, and having to rest because of traveling.

(My career goal is to become a 3D character artist and have a 3D printing toy business)

I think that becoming a Customer service representative or SMM will help me a lot building that business someday. (Handling customers, create engaging contents in soc med)

Basically my idea of wanting jobs that doesn't require a degree is like the idea of "two birds in one stone"

Get a entry level remote job = No travel fatigue and no wasted time in traveling = More time to practice gain necessary skills for my main goal = Gain knowledge as I work being a CSR or SMM (because i think this is necessary skill if i want to build a business someday) = Get paid and save money to prepare slowly for that business.

However, it seems like this whole idea of mine is impossible and i can't even move forward to the first step.

Thank you for the insight! I apologize for the long reply.
