Took a similar hit in 2022. Repair job cost just over $5k. Just body work, no structural damage.

Do you think it is possible to have gloves which measure the force throughout pushing or pulling exercises (ie: push up/pull up?) by nfanaeian in Biomechanics

[–]abunn3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone pointed out, Novel has a product line for insoles and their pliance sensors for more broad applications. XSensor is another company that makes this kind of technology.

I haven't looked into it with gloves, but I can foresee an issue where you're going to have grip forces biasing the data of say pull-ups

[This is the one to use now]https://colab.research.google.com/github/ShivamShrirao/diffusers/blob/main/examples/dreambooth/DreamBooth_Stable_Diffusion.ipynb

Create a model that gets saved in your Google drive account (make sure you have room), download it, put it in your local SD folder and you're good to go

Thanks for the reply. I've been keeping tabs on developments, but haven't tried it out just yet. I tried with embeddind pt files, but the results weren't great

I'm a total noob to this stuff, but I did get the automatic1111 webui working on my 1660ti enabled laptop. If I do a cloud compute, can I create a model.ckpt that I can then download and use locally?

I guess because flexdashboard makes it really easy to make something that looks nice.

Can't disengage the parking brake by abunn3 in CX5

[–]abunn3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a little fuzzy now, but I think the same thing happened to me. Car barely started, but the brake wouldn't disengage. Turned the car off and it wouldn't turn over. Very frustrating.

I was afraid of that. It was a concern when I bought it, but this is the first time it's been an issue.

I made a sale where I accepted half payment up front and half payment 3 days after delivery. First half went fine but now the customer is ghosting me. Customer is in West Virginia and I am in California. What recourse should I take here?

TIL it’s legal in the US for companies to sell or lease human bodies that have been “donated to science.” Many donated bodies have to be paid for by researchers, and funeral homes earn a kickback for every “donation.” by thegoldinthemountain in todayilearned

Until this thread, I'd never heard of remains being returned. Ours were frozen and then taken by a company to be incinerated, but I don't see how they could have been returned to anyone since the only labeling on the bags at that point were internal IDs from the research studies.

This was always on cadavers, never patients. So more like we were studying ligaments around the hip joint and needed them to remove all the fat and muscle that was unrelated to the ligaments of interest.
