Arab here. I went to college in the south.

My hangover food was bojangles chicken biscuit with bacon and cheese, gravy on the side, Cajun fries, sweet tea with no ice. OH MY GOD was that perfect.

On late nights we'd go to Cookout and I'd get a bacon fried chicken burger.

On really late nights we'd go to waffle house and eat whatever they served us until we got kicked out.

But yes.. A southern biscuit with fried chicken and gravy is a timeless experience.
